Great location, spacious room with a balcony. Wi-Fi was spotty, though.

The dining at Casa Alcestre blew me away! The tamal was the best I've had in ages, offering layers of flavor that took me straight to foodie heaven. Plus, the hotel is stunningly designed and super tranquil, making for a perfect getaway.
However, we had a bit of a rough patch with the room's lack of aeration—mosquitoes snuck in when we opened the doors, which was a bit annoying at night. Also, it was a bummer that we didn't get a heads-up about the Mercé restaurant being closed, especially with a 94-year-old in our group who went to bed without dinner.

clean, clean, clean
The room was impeccably clean and the architecture of the hotel was fine, with public spaces boasting beautiful terraces illuminated by olive trees. I savored a delicious breakfast featuring the best tamal I've had in ages! The spa area was a true highlight, well-designed, tranquil, and complete with a jacuzzi, sauna, and ample seating for relaxation.

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming spot just a short walk from the main square. The lovely internal courtyard was a great place to unwind, and my dad appreciated the tour desk for arranging our local adventures.
For dads, it would be great if breakfast options started earlier.

The beautiful interior gardens and well-maintained public spaces create a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast got high marks, featuring an outstanding tamal that I couldn't get enough of. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi wasn't functioning properly, and there were minor mosquito disturbances in the room. It would have been great if the rooms had better ventilation for a more comfortable night's sleep.
